Questions
Where do downloaded files go?
Your browser saves them where it saves every download, usually the Downloads folder. On iPhone and iPad, open the Files app and look in Downloads.
Why won't my link load?
The video may be private, deleted, age-restricted, limited to signed-in users, or blocked in the server's region. Live streams can be saved once they end. If the video plays in a private browser window without signing in, it should work here.
Can I save just the audio?
Yes. Load the link, open the Audio tab, and choose MP3 or M4A. MP3 files include the title, the channel name and the thumbnail as cover art.
Which video format should I choose?
Higher numbers mean a sharper picture and a bigger file. H.264 plays on every phone, computer and TV. HEVC, VP9 and AV1 make smaller files at the same quality, but some older devices and video editors can't open them.
Do you keep my videos?
No. Each file is prepared on the server, kept for 30 minutes so you can save it, and then deleted. There are no accounts, and your links are never written to disk.
Is downloading videos allowed?
It depends on the video. Download videos you made, videos whose license allows it, or videos the creator has said you may save. Respect creators and each site's terms of service.
